Laser Printing from the Gas Phase (B1.2)

Our Goal

The goal of this project is to explore the possibility of 3D laser nanoprinting from “gaseous inks” rather than liquid inks. This approach can also been seen as laser-assisted chemical vapour deposition or atomic-layer deposition driven to sub-µm scales. It potentially gives access to different materials and nanometer thin structures. It requires close collaboration with chemistry in Research Area A.
