(Macro)molecular Archive (A2.3)

Project A2.3 entails a smart archive enabling faster material discovery.
Our Goal

The (Macro)molecular Archive creates a sustainable, searchable repository of reliably functional molecules produced across Research Area A using experimental and computational techniques. Building on KIT’s existing 22,000-molecule library, it enables researchers to identify functional building blocks for advanced material design. By integrating large-language models with ELNs such as Chemotion and expanding high-throughput, automated synthesis through ChemASAP and the InnovationLab, the project boosts both synthetic efficiency and scientific collaboration.
