Increase of Female Scientists

To increase the percentage of female scientists and professors, the Cluster has implemented the following measures:

  • Defined quota in the Cluster for the share of women for different qualification levels
  • Structured coaching offers for Doctoral Researchers in advanced stages, Postdoctoral Researchers and female PIs
  • Training formats addressing career development, leadership skills, negotiation and inclusive academic practices

Interviews with Carl Zeiss Foundation Scholarship holders

As part of the Women in Science video series, female researchers from the Cluster share insights into their research and academic careers, as well as their experiences in academia. The aim is to inspire young scientists. In the two most recent videos, Principal Investigators Stefanie Dehnen and Yolita Eggeler present their research and reflect on their career paths.
