Talks & Workshops
The Cluster 3DMM2O offers a variety of lectures and workshops to promote scientific exchange, foster collaboration and engage both internal and external audiences. Among these formats is the Public Lecture Series, which is aimed at a broad scientific audience. Here, Principal Investigators (PIs) from the Cluster present their research, showcase the achievements of their groups, and explain how their work contributes to the broader scientific landscape.
In addition, the Lecture Series on 3D Printing serves as a regular platform for networking and collaboration within the 3D printing community. These events bring together scientists working in related fields to share knowledge, discuss recent advances, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
The Talk Series: Successes and Challenges is held monthly and encourages interdisciplinary exchange by inviting two researchers to present both their successes and the challenges they are currently facing. This format is designed to stimulate creative solutions and foster collaborative thinking across different research areas.
For younger audiences, particularly female students between the ages of 13 and 19, the Cluster offers a summer workshop (Sommerferienprogramm) on 3D printing. This hands-on program provides an introduction to STEM fields and gives participants hands-on experience with 3D printing technology, from conceptual design to finished product.
Through these diverse formats, 3DMM2O facilitates an ongoing dialogue that fosters scientific innovation, collaboration, and public engagement.
